Sobre el libro

To prove himself to the woman he loves, the young journalist Edward Malone joins an expedition led by the furious, brilliant Professor Challenger to a high plateau in the Amazon basin, where Challenger claims prehistoric animals still live. With the sceptical Professor Summerlee and the hunter Lord John Roxton they find dinosaurs, pterodactyls and a tribe of ape-men, and are trapped on the plateau when their bridge is destroyed.
