Sobre el libro

A shepherd's son, a boy who reads a great deal, discovers that the dragon living in a cave on the Downs above his village is nothing to fear: it is lazy, polite and fond of writing poetry, and wants only to be left alone. Then the villagers send for Saint George to slay it, and the boy must arrange matters so that the knight, the dragon and the crowd all get the fight they want without anyone being hurt.
