Über dieses Buch

These eight comic stories introduce the world of P. G. Wodehouse: the amiable, empty-headed young gentleman Bertie Wooster, always in trouble with his aunts, his friends' romances and his own engagements, and his valet Jeeves, a quiet genius who rescues him from every scrape, usually in return for the disappearance of some loud tie or hat he disapproves of. Half the stories feature Reggie Pepper, an earlier version of Bertie.

Hintergrund und Bedeutung

Wodehouse (1881–1975) published the collection in 1919, and the Jeeves and Wooster stories went on to become among the best-loved comedy in English. Read The Inimitable Jeeves and Leave It to Psmith.
